MPP3 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MPP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MPP3 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MPP3, also known as Discs large homolog 3 (DLG3), is a 585 amino acid protein that belongs to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating cell signaling and maintaining cell junctions. MPP3′s structure includes one guanylate kinase-like domain, one PDZ domain, two L27 domains, and one SH3 domain, which are essential for function in cellular processes. The PDZ domain of MPP3 facilitates interactions with the C-terminus of TSLC1, a protein involved in cell adhesion and signaling. MPP3 has been shown to interact with other proteins such as SR-2A and SR-4, further highlighting MPP3′s role in complex cellular networks. Understanding MPP3′s interactions and structural features is vital for elucidating function in cellular dynamics and implications in various biological processes.
