    SEE ALSO...

MAGE-B1 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAGE-B1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAGE-B1 antibody (B-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAGE-B1 belongs to the melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE) family, which is known for eliciting immune responses against tumors. MAGE-B1 is primarily expressed in malignant tissues, making MAGE-B1 a valuable target for cancer immunotherapy, as expression remains largely absent in normal adult tissues, except in testis and placenta. MAGE-B1 plays a crucial role in tumor rejection by interacting with cytotoxic T lymphocytes, facilitating immune system recognition and elimination of cancer cells. Understanding MAGE-B1 function in tumor immunity is essential for developing effective immunotherapeutic strategies to enhance natural defenses against cancer.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271008 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
