SEE ALSO...

Lysozyme C Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Lysozyme C protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Lysozyme C (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Lysozyme C plays a crucial role in the immune system as a bacteriolytic enzyme, breaking down bacterial cell walls and providing a first line of defense against infections. Lysozyme C is primarily located in various tissues and body fluids, including saliva, tears, and mucus, where Lysozyme C contributes to the innate immune response by targeting and neutralizing pathogens. Lysozyme C presence in these locations is vital for maintaining mucosal immunity and protecting against microbial invasion. Additionally, defects in Lysozyme C can lead to amyloidosis VIII, highlighting Lysozyme C importance in both health and disease. With diverse applications and significant biological role, anti-Lysozyme C antibody (E-5) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying immune responses and related pathologies.
