Datasheets
  • Laminin-5 Antibody (CM6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ, cited in 1 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • mapping the globular (G) carboxy-terminal domain of the α-3 subunit of Laminin-5
  • recommended for detection of α-3 subunit of Laminin-5, 6 and 7 of rat origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P); non cross-reactive with human or mouse α-3 chain
  • also provided azide-free for prevents adhesion to rat α-3 subunit, sc-32794 L, 200 µg/0.1 ml
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Laminin-5 Antibody (CM6) for WB and IHC(P) applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Laminin-5 Antibody (CM6) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

Laminin-5 Antibody (CM6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Laminin-5 in rat samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Laminin-5 is a crucial glycoprotein complex composed of three subunits: laminin-alpha3, laminin-beta3, and laminin-gamma2, which play a significant role in cell adhesion, signal transduction, and keratinocyte differentiation. Laminin-5 is primarily located in the basal lamina beneath epithelial tissues, where anti-Laminin-5 antibody (CM6) can detect anchoring basal epithelial cells to the extracellular matrix (ECM). The structural integrity of Laminin-5 is vital for maintaining tissue architecture and function, as Laminin-5 influences how cells interact with their surrounding environment. Notably, differential processing of the Laminin-5 precursor subunits can affect ECM integration, thereby impacting cellular behavior and tissue homeostasis. Laminin-5 (CM6) antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of cell adhesion and the molecular mechanisms underlying epithelial integrity and pathology.
