SEE ALSO...

KLHL20 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KLHL20 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLHL20 (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLHL20 protein, also known as kelch-like 20, KHLHX, KLEIP, or KLHLX, consists of 609 amino acids and is structurally characterized by the presence of six kelch repeats, one BACK (BTB/Kelch associated) domain, and one BTB (POZ) domain. The BTB domain plays a crucial role in protein homodimerization and is implicated in transcriptional regulation through chromatin structure and function modulation. KLHL20 acts as a substrate-specific adapter for an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex, facilitating ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes. KLHL20′s ability to regulate protein levels through ubiquitination underscores its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and potential involvement in pathological conditions when dysregulated.
