KLHL12 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects KLHL12 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLHL12 (D-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLHL12, also known as C3IP1 (CUL3-interacting protein 1), DKIR, or FLJ27152, is a 568 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role as a substrate-specific adapter in an ubiquitin-protein E3 ligase complex, which includes CUL-3. KLHL12 is essential for the negative regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway, facilitating targeted ubiquitination and subsequent proteolysis of Dishevelled-3 (Dvl-3), a key component in this signaling cascade. The presence of six Kelch repeats and one BTB (POZ) domain in KLHL12 is critical for CUL-3 interaction, underscoring the importance of structural features in mediating protein-protein interactions. KLHL12 exhibits highest expression levels in testis, with lower expression found in submandibular salivary gland, and KLHL12 gene is located on human chromosome 1q32.1, highlighting evolutionary conservation and potential significance in reproductive biology and cellular signaling.
