    SEE ALSO...

Kininogen HC Antibody (1.B.708) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Kininogen HC in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Kininogen HC, a crucial component of the coagulation cascade, is a 644 amino acid precursor protein expressed by the KNG1 gene and secreted into blood plasma. Anti-Kininogen HC antibody (1.B.708) plays a vital role in studying blood coagulation by detecting proteins that ensure proper positioning of prekallikrein and Factor XI for interaction with Factor XII, which is essential for the activation of the coagulation pathway. Additionally, Kininogen HC is responsible for the release of bradykinin, a potent peptide that mediates various physiological responses, including smooth muscle contraction, induction of hypotension, regulation of blood glucose levels, and stimulation of nociceptors, thereby contributing to the inflammatory response. The ability of Kininogen HC to interact with these critical factors underscores its importance in maintaining hemostasis and regulating vascular functions. In contrast, Kininogen LC, another derivative of the Kininogen precursor, primarily inhibits thrombocyte aggregation and acts as a strong inhibitor of cysteine proteinases, highlighting the diverse functional roles of Kininogen proteins in the body. Kininogen HC monoclonal antibody (1.B.708) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying coagulation processes and related pathologies.
