    Kininogen LC Antibody (C11C1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Kininogen LC protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Kininogen LC antibody (C11C1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Kininogen is a 644 amino acid precursor protein encoded by the KNG1 gene and is secreted into blood plasma, where Kininogen plays a crucial role in regulating hemostasis and inflammation. Kininogen undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in the production of Kininogen LC and Kininogen HC, each with distinct biological functions. Kininogen LC serves as a potent inhibitor of cysteine proteinases and plays a significant role in preventing thrombocyte aggregation, thereby contributing to the maintenance of vascular integrity. Kininogen HC is involved in blood coagulation, facilitating the interaction of prekallikrein and Factor XI with Factor XII, and Kininogen HC releases bradykinin, a peptide that mediates various physiological responses, including smooth muscle contraction and inflammatory processes. Kininogen LC′s ability to modulate these interactions highlights Kininogen LC′s importance in maintaining homeostasis and regulating inflammatory responses within the human body.
