SEE ALSO...

KHS Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects KHS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KHS antibody (E-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KHS protein, known as kinase homologous to SPS1/STE20, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the activation of stress response mechanisms. KHS (E-5) monoclonal antibody is closely related to the GC kinase and has been shown to activate several substrates, including c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), which is vital for mediating cellular responses to stress stimuli. KHS protein′s ability to relay signals from G-protein coupled receptors to downstream MAP kinase cascades underscores its importance in regulating various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Anti-KHS antibody (E-5) enables valuable insights into the functional dynamics of this kinase and its implications in cellular stress responses across different species.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374070 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
