IP3R-I Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to target the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor type I (IP3R-I), also known as INSP3R1 or IP3R1. IP3R-I monoclonal antibody (E-8) is raised against amino acids 1894-1973 within the cytoplasmic domain of the human IP3R-I protein, ensuring precise recognition and binding. IP3R-I functions as a critical intracellular receptor for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3), acting as a calcium release channel that mediates calcium signaling in various cell types. This function is essential for regulating diverse cellular processes, including exocrine secretion, energy metabolism, and neuronal activity, making IP3R-I a vital component in the central nervous system and liver. Anti-IP3R-I antibody (E-8) demonstrates broad species reactivity, effectively detecting IP3R-I from mouse, rat, and human origins across multiple applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Additionally, IP3R-I (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing flexibility for diverse experimental needs. By targeting the predominant IP3R subtype in neuronal tissues, IP3R-I (E-8) monoclonal antibody facilitates in-depth studies of calcium signaling pathways and their implications in neurological and hepatic functions.
