Integrin αX Antibody (BU15) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Integrin αX protein of human and canine origin by immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin αX, also known as CD11c, is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin in combination with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Integrin αX (BU15) antibody recognizes a protein essential for mediating the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, facilitating their migration to sites of inflammation, and promoting the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles. Integrin αX monoclonal antibody (BU15) targets a protein vital for an effective immune response, as Integrin αX enables dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells to interact with T and B cells, thereby shaping the adaptive immune response. Notably, abnormal expression of Integrin αX is associated with hairy cell leukemia, highlighting its significance in both normal immune function and disease states.
