Integrin αX Antibody (3.9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in human samples through applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (3.9) is essential for studying neutrophil and monocyte adherence to activated endothelial cells, as well as phagocytosis of complement-coated particles, which is vital for an effective immune response. Integrin αX expression is particularly significant in diseases such as hairy cell leukemia, where abnormal levels are observed due to the activation of proto-oncogenes like Ras and JunD. Integrin αX is predominantly found on monocyte-derived dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells, and Integrin αX presence on dendritic cells, especially those in the skin and mucosal tissues, allows for migration to lymphoid organs where they interact with T and B cells, thereby shaping the adaptive immune response. The regulation of Integrin αX transcription involves various proteins and DNA elements, including Sp1, AP-1 family members, and PU.1, highlighting its complex role in immune system dynamics. Integrin αX monoclonal antibody (3.9) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune cell interactions and the underlying mechanisms of immune-related diseases.

How can Integrin αX (3.9): sc-1185 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-1185 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-1185 FITC).
