IGF-I Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IGF-I in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IGF-I (H-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) is a critical peptide that plays a vital role in cellular growth and development, acting in both autocrine and paracrine manners to stimulate vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation. IGF-I is primarily located in serum and secreted by the liver in response to growth hormone stimulation, which is essential for systemic effects on growth and metabolism.
