    SEE ALSO...

ICSBP Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ICSBP (Interferon consensus sequence-binding protein, also known as Interferon regulatory factor 8; IRF-8) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ICSBP plays a crucial role as a transcription factor in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in signaling pathways mediated by interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) during dendritic cell and macrophage differentiation. ICSBP (F-11) antibody helps researchers study ICSBP′s physical interaction with TRAF6, which is essential for modulating Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling and facilitating cross-talk between IFN-γ and TLR pathways. ICSBP has been shown to antagonize the oncogenic Bcr/Abl fusion protein by downregulating Bcl-2, thereby influencing cell survival and apoptosis. Structurally, ICSBP belongs to the interferon regulatory factor (IRF) family, characterized by a conserved DNA-binding domain in the N-terminal region and a divergent C-terminal regulatory domain, which allows binding to the interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) and regulation of key cytokines such as IFN-α and IFN-β. ICSBP′s interaction with chromatin and binding to PU.1 in macrophages further highlights anti-ICSBP antibody (F-11)′s significance as a valuable tool for studying immune signaling and transcriptional regulation.
