ICSBP Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ICSBP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ICSBP antibody (E-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ICSBP protein, also known as Interferon consensus sequence-binding protein or Interferon regulatory factor 8, plays a crucial role as a transcription factor in the immune response, particularly in the differentiation of dendritic cells and macrophages in response to interferon-gamma signaling. ICSBP (E-9) monoclonal antibody has been shown to interact with TRAF6, a key adaptor protein in Toll-like receptor signaling, which highlights ICSBP′s importance in the cross-talk between interferon and Toll-like receptor pathways. ICSBP is known to antagonize Bcr/Abl by downregulating Bcl-2, further emphasizing ICSBP′s role in hematopoietic malignancies. ICSBP′s structure includes a conserved DNA-binding domain in the N-terminal region, which is critical for binding to the interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) and regulating the expression of interferon-alpha and interferon-beta, making ICSBP a vital component in the immune system′s response to pathogens.
