    SEE ALSO...

HYAL3 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects HYAL3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HYAL3 antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HYAL3, a member of the hyaluronidase family, plays a significant role in the degradation of hyaluronic acid, a vital component of the extracellular matrix that maintains tissue hydration and supports cellular functions such as proliferation and differentiation. HYAL3 is predominantly expressed in the testis and bone marrow, highlighting its potential importance in reproductive and hematopoietic processes. While other hyaluronidases have been implicated in cancer progression, HYAL3 is not considered a tumor suppressor due to the absence of mutations in its gene, suggesting a unique role in cellular homeostasis rather than in tumorigenesis. HYAL3′s ability to modulate the extracellular matrix environment may have implications for understanding its function in both normal physiology and disease states, making HYAL3 (E-4) antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying these processes.

Can HYAL3 (E-4): sc-374036 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes, HYAL3 (E-4): sc-374036 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
