HNF-3α Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HNF-3 alpha protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HNF-3α (A-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HNF-3 alpha protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression in the liver and other tissues, and proves essential for proper development of the endoderm during embryogenesis. HNF-3α is involved in transcriptional regulation of genes vital for liver function, including those responsible for glucose metabolism and lipid homeostasis. HNF-3α′s ability to interact with other members of the hepatocyte nuclear factor family, such as HNF-1 and HNF-4, underscores its importance in maintaining metabolic processes and cellular differentiation.
