Datasheets
  • HLA-DR Antibody (Bra30) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against cells Reh-6 (non-T, non-B leukemia cell line)
  • recommended for detection of HLA-DR of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP and FCM
  • available conjugated to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • See HLA-DR (520B): sc-69673 for HLA-DR antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG2a BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for HLA-DR Antibody (Bra30) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with HLA-DR Antibody (Bra30) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

HLA-DR Antibody (Bra30) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to target the HLA-DR protein, also known as human leukocyte antigen DR or MHC class II DR. HLA-DR protein is primarily located on the surface of antigen-presenting cells such as B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, and macrophages, where HLA-DR plays a crucial role in the immune system by presenting antigenic peptides to CD4+ T helper cells. This interaction is essential for initiating and regulating immune responses, making HLA-DR a key player in pathogen defense and immune surveillance. Anti-HLA-DR antibody (Bra30) is raised against the Reh-6 non-T, non-B leukemia cell line and exhibits strong reactivity with HLA-DR from mouse, rat, and human species, making anti-HLA-DR antibody (Bra30) versatile for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. HLA-DR monoclonal antibody (Bra30) specificity for HLA-DR ensures no cross-reactivity with other MHC class II molecules, providing reliable and precise detection in various experimental settings. Available in both conjugated and unconjugated forms, HLA-DR (Bra30) antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers investigating antigen presentation mechanisms, immune cell interactions, and the molecular basis of immune-related diseases such as autoimmune disorders and cancers. By facilitating the detailed study of HLA-DR localization and function within cells, anti-HLA-DR antibody (Bra30) supports the advancement of targeted immunotherapies and the development of novel diagnostic strategies, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and a deeper understanding of immune regulation.

SC-33720 is an anti-HLA-DR antibody that can be used in WB detection of human HLA-DR. According to SC, this antibody can also be used to detect mouse HLA-DR (usually called I-A) by WB. How was WB reactivity against mouse determined?

    Asked by: JohnK
Thank you for your question. Reactivity with mouse is based on Western blot positive data in IB4 whole cell lysate.

How can HLA-DR (Bra30): sc-33717 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: jenniferc
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-33717 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-33717 FITC).
