    HIF-3α Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects HIF-3α in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HIF-3α, a member of the hypoxia-inducible factor family, plays a crucial role in cellular responses to low oxygen levels, acting as a transcription factor that regulates the expression of genes involved in various adaptive processes, including metabolism and angiogenesis. Unlike HIF-1α and HIF-2α, HIF-3α has distinct regulatory functions, including the modulation of gene expression in response to hypoxia, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis under stress conditions. HIF-3α is primarily located in the nucleus, where HIF-3α forms heterodimers with the aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (Arnt) to bind to hypoxia-responsive elements in target gene promoters. This nuclear localization enables HIF-3α to effectively regulate the transcription of genes that facilitate adaptation to hypoxic environments, such as those involved in erythropoiesis and glucose metabolism.     Which cell line is used for generating whole cell lysates of western analysis in datasheet? Also Is it hypoxia?

    Thank you for your question. There is an error in the legend text on our website and data sheet incorrectly describing this as a CMV whole cell lysate. We will update this information shortly. The Western blot data was against human HIF-3α transfected 293T whole cell lysates. There was no hypoxia treatment for the cell lysate.
