HCNP Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects HCNP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HCNP antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HCNP protein, also known as XAB2 (Xeroderma pigmentosum group A binding protein 2), plays a crucial role in the nucleus, participating in transcription, transcription-coupled repair, and pre-mRNA splicing. HCNP structure is characterized by fifteen tetratricopeptide repeat motifs, which are essential for protein-protein interactions and facilitate association with nucleotide excision repair machinery. HCNP is involved in the RAR corepressor complex with RARα and HDAC3, exhibiting an inhibitory effect on all-trans retinoic acid-induced cell differentiation, suggesting HCNP′s potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment.
