SEE ALSO...

HCN3 Antibody (TLL6C5) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HCN3 protein of mouse, rat, human, bovine, and canine origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-HCN3 antibody (TLL6C5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HCN3 is a member of the hyperpolarization-activated, cyclic nucleotide-binding channel family, which plays a crucial role in generating rhythmic electrical activity in excitable tissues such as the heart and brain. These channels are activated by the binding of intracellular cyclic nucleotides, which allows them to respond to changes in cellular signaling. HCN3 is characterized by a distinctive S4 segment that contains a series of positively charged amino acids, functioning as a voltage sensor that is essential for channel activation. Expression of HCN3 is predominantly found in the brain, particularly in regions such as the hypothalamus, where HCN3 contributes to the regulation of neuronal excitability and rhythmic firing patterns. Understanding the function and distribution of HCN3 is vital for elucidating its role in physiological processes and potential implications in various neurological and cardiac disorders.

Are there any issues with using sc-58621: HCN3 (TLL6C5) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-58621 conjugates.
