    SEE ALSO...

GRK 1 Antibody (D11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GRK 1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GRK 1 (D11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GRK 1, also known as rhodopsin kinase, plays a crucial role in regulating G protein-coupled receptor signaling, particularly in the phototransduction pathway of retinal photoreceptors. GRK 1 is primarily located in photoreceptor cells of the retina, where GRK 1 is essential for phosphorylation of activated rhodopsin, facilitating desensitization of the phototransduction cascade. Proper functioning of GRK 1 maintains visual sensitivity and prevents overstimulation of photoreceptors, which can lead to visual impairment. Dysregulation of GRK 1 has been implicated in various retinal diseases, highlighting GRK 1′s importance in both normal physiology and potential pathophysiology. With demonstrated effectiveness in detecting GRK 1 across multiple species and applications, anti-GRK 1 antibody (D11) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying G protein-coupled receptor signaling and its implications in health and disease.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with GRK 1 (D11): sc-56910?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
