GPVI Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects GPVI protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GPVI (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Glycoprotein VI (GPVI) is a crucial collagen receptor that mediates platelet aggregation, playing a vital role in hemostasis and thrombosis. GPVI deficiencies lead to bleeding disorders, highlighting GPVI′s significance in maintaining vascular integrity. GPVI plays a key role in various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, making GPVI a potential target for therapeutic interventions. GPVI interacts with collagen-related peptides and convulxin, a specific ligand from snake venom, which triggers signaling pathways through CD32, leading to the activation of Syk and phospholipase C gamma 2. Human GPVI gene is located on chromosome 19q13 and produces three isoforms, including the full-length GPVI-1 and two additional isoforms, GPVI-2 and GPVI-3, each contributing to diverse functional roles in immune response and platelet biology.
