    SEE ALSO...

GlnRS Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects GlnRS in human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GlnRS, or Glutaminyl-tRNA synthetase, is a crucial enzyme composed of 775 amino acids that plays a vital role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the aminoacylation of tRNA with L-glutamine. This process ensures accurate translation of genetic information into functional proteins by incorporating correct amino acids into the growing polypeptide chain during translation. GlnRS is localized in the cytoplasm and functions as a key component of a multi-protein complex containing nine aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, each specific for a different amino acid. This complex facilitates efficient synthesis of Gln-tRNA(Gln) and demonstrates the intricate interplay between various aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases in maintaining cellular function and protein homeostasis. GlnRS′s ability to operate in both eukaryotic cells and prokaryotic systems, including mitochondria and chloroplasts, underscores evolutionary significance and adaptability in different biological contexts.
