Datasheets
  • GATSL3 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 127-155 within an internal region of GATSL3 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of GATSL3 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for GATSL3 Antibody (C-3) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with GATSL3 Antibody (C-3) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

GATSL3 (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody. GATSL3 (GATS-like protein 3) is a 329 amino acid protein belonging to the GATS family. GATSL3 maps to human chromosome 22, which contains over 500 genes and about 49 million bases. Chromosome 22, despite being the second smallest human chromosome, contains a diverse range of significant genes. Phelan-McDermid syndrome, Neurofibromatosis type 2, and autism are associated with chromosome 22. A schizophrenia susceptibility locus exists on chromosome 22, with studies showing 22q11 deletion symptoms include a high incidence of schizophrenia. Translocations between chromosomes 9 and 22 can lead to Philadelphia Chromosome formation and subsequent production of BCR-Abl fusion protein, a potent cell proliferation activator found in several leukemia types.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377385 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
