GAMT Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GAMT protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GAMT antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GAMT plays a crucial role in the creatine biosynthesis pathway, where GAMT catalyzes the conversion of guanidinoacetate to creatine using S-adenosylmethionine as a methyl donor. The human GAMT gene encodes a 236 amino acid protein and is located on chromosome 19p13.3.
