FKBP10 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FKBP10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FKBP10 (D-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FKBP10, also known as peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase, PPIase, Rotamase, or FK506-binding protein 65 (FKBP65), is a 582 amino acid immunophilin primarily located in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and is expressed in various tissues such as heart, spleen, brain, testis, and lung. FKBP10 plays a crucial role in protein folding and trafficking, containing two EF-hand calcium-binding domains and four PPIase FKBP-type domains, which facilitate cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides, thereby assisting in proper protein folding. FKBP10 acts as a receptor for immunosuppressants like FK506 and rapamycin, which inhibit activity, and interacts with Raf-1/HSP 90 heterocomplex during signal transduction processes. FKBP10 may associate with elastin during folding and transport, highlighting importance in maintaining cellular function and integrity. With a valine-24 addition to human FKBP10, FKBP10 is nearly identical between human and mouse species, making anti-FKBP10 antibody (D-4) valuable for studying this essential protein across different models.
