SEE ALSO...

FGF-16 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FGF-16 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FGF-16 antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FGF-16 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival, particularly in nervous system and cardiac tissue development. FGF-16 interaction with specific receptors, including FGFR1, FGFR2, and FGFR3, is essential for mediating biological effects, making FGF-16 significant in both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions, including cancer and heart disease. Understanding FGF-16 function and interactions can provide valuable insights into therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390547 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
