Fc ε RIγ Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Fc ε RIγ in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Fc ε RIγ antibody (G-3) specifically targets the gamma chain of the high-affinity IgE receptor, which plays a crucial role in mediating allergic responses by facilitating the binding of IgE to allergens. This interaction triggers the activation of mast cells and basophils, leading to the release of pro-inflammatory mediators like histamines and cytokines, which are responsible for the symptoms of allergies. The gamma chain is not only a vital component of the IgE receptor but also serves as a subunit for other Fc receptors, highlighting its importance in immune signaling.
