    SEE ALSO...

Fascin 2 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Fascin 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Fascin 2 (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fascin 2 plays a crucial role in organizing actin cytoskeleton, particularly in photoreceptor cells, where Fascin 2 is localized to inner and outer segments. Such localization is vital for maintaining structural integrity and function of photoreceptors, which are essential for vision. Fascin 2′s actin-bundling properties facilitate formation of microspikes and other dynamic structures important for cellular processes such as migration and adhesion. Additionally, Fascin 2 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including ovarian cancer, where Fascin 2 may serve as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target. Understanding specific interactions and functions of Fascin 2 can provide insights into normal physiology and disease states, making anti-Fascin 2 antibody (G-12) an invaluable tool for advancing research in cell biology and cancer studies.
