Factor B Antibody (M20/6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Factor B in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Factor B (M20/6) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in the alternative pathway of the complement system, where Factor B is cleaved by Factor D into two fragments, Ba and Bb. The Bb fragment combines with complement Factor 3b to form the C3 or C5 convertase, which is essential for amplifying the complement response.
