SEE ALSO...

EDG-2 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects EDG-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EDG-2 (D-6) antibody is available as a non-conjugated format. EDG-2 protein, also known as LPAR1 or LPA1, is a member of the endothelial differentiation gene (EDG) family of G protein-coupled receptors, which play a crucial role in cellular signaling by binding to lysophospholipid mediators such as lysophosphatidic acid (LPA). EDG-2 protein is primarily located in the brain, particularly in white matter tracts, where EDG-2 is involved in important processes such as cell survival, growth, migration, and differentiation. EDG-2 interaction with LPA activates multiple signaling pathways through various G proteins, including Ras, MAP kinase, and Rho, which are essential for maintaining normal cellular functions and responses to external stimuli. EDG-2 expression in the brain highlights EDG-2′s potential role in neurodevelopment and neuroprotection, making EDG-2 a valuable target for research in neurological disorders. With EDG-2′s ability to facilitate understanding of these critical biological processes, anti-EDG-2 antibody (D-6) serves as an essential tool for researchers investigating the intricate signaling mechanisms mediated by lysophospholipids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NonspecificThe band shows up both in EDG-2 KO and WT cells. The bands are great in western blotting but I think the antibody binding is nonspecific
