E2A Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects E2A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). E2A, a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during B cell maturation and myogenic differentiation. E2A anti-E2A antibody (G-9) targets proteins primarily located in the nucleus, where E2A binds to specific DNA sequences to regulate transcription of target genes essential for cell differentiation and development. Nuclear localization of E2A enables direct interaction with DNA and other transcriptional regulators, thereby influencing expression of genes involved in various cellular processes, including development of muscle cells and B lymphocytes. E2A forms heterodimers with other bHLH proteins, such as Myo D, which enhances binding to E box motifs in promoter regions of muscle-specific genes, underscoring E2A′s importance in lineage-specific gene expression. Anti-E2A antibody (G-9) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying intricate mechanisms of gene regulation and cellular differentiation.
