E2A Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects E2A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-E2A antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. E2A protein, also known as Transcription factor 3 (TCF-3), plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during B cell maturation and is part of the helix-loop-helix (HLH) protein family, which is essential for muscle cell differentiation. E2A interacts with other HLH proteins, such as MyoD and myogenin, to form heterodimers that bind to E box sequences in the regulatory regions of muscle-specific genes, thereby influencing lineage-specific gene expression. E2A′s ability to form both homo- and hetero-oligomers allows for distinguishing between closely related E box proteins, highlighting E2A′s importance in the precise regulation of gene expression during development. This multifaceted role underscores E2A′s significance in both hematopoietic and muscle cell differentiation, making E2A (G-2) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
