DPP7 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects DPP7 in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DPP7, also known as dipeptidyl-peptidase 7, DPP2, DPPII, or quiescent cell proline dipeptidase, plays a crucial role in the regulation of lymphocyte survival, as DPP7 is expressed in quiescent lymphocytes and localizes to lysosomes. DPP7′s ability to be secreted in its active form in response to calcium release highlights DPP7′s importance in immune responses. DPP7 exists as a homodimer, facilitated by its leucine zipper motif, and is involved in the degradation of oligopeptides, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Notably, inhibition of DPP7 leads to apoptosis in quiescent cells, underscoring DPP7′s vital role in lymphocyte survival and function. DPP7 also interacts with various proteins, including specific voltage-gated potassium channels, which can alter their expression and biophysical properties, further emphasizing DPP7′s significance in cellular signaling pathways.
