DPP10 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DPP10 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DPP10, also known as DPRP3 (dipeptidyl peptidase IV-related protein 3), DPL2, or DPPY, is a non-functional dipeptidyl peptidase that plays a crucial role in modulating the activity and surface expression of voltage-gated potassium channels, specifically KV4.1 and KV4.2. This single-pass type II membrane protein is predominantly expressed in the spinal cord, adrenal glands, pancreas, and brain tissues, highlighting DPP10′s importance in the central nervous system and endocrine functions. By interacting with these potassium channels, DPP10 can influence neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission, which are vital for proper neurological function. DPP10′s ability to bind to KV4 channels suggests a role as a regulatory factor in various physiological processes, including cardiac rhythm and neuronal signaling, making DPP10 a significant target for research in understanding diseases related to these systems.
