Dab2 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Dab2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dab2, also known as DOC-2, is a mitogen-responsive phosphoprotein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and growth regulation. Dab2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and interacts with the SH3 domain of the GRB2 protein, which negatively regulates cell growth and proliferation. Proper functioning of Dab2 is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis, and dysregulation can lead to various pathological conditions, including cancer. Additionally, Dab2 modulates signaling pathways that influence cell migration and differentiation, making Dab2 a vital component in developmental processes. Through binding to other signaling molecules, Dab2 serves as an important player in cellular communication, highlighting Dab2′s relevance in both normal physiology and disease states.
