CMBL Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CMBL (Carboxymethylenebutenolidase homolog) in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CMBL is a 245 amino acid cytosolic protein and cysteine hydrolase that plays a crucial role in the cleavage of cyclic esters, functioning as a bioactivating enzyme for the prodrug olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist.
