Cdk9 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody designed to target Cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (Cdk9), also known as Serine/threonine-protein kinase PITALRE or CDC2L4. Cdk9 (D-7) antibody is raised against amino acids 204-372 of the human Cdk9 protein and exhibits broad species reactivity, effectively detecting Cdk9 from mouse, rat, and human origins through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHCP), and ELISA. Cdk9 is a crucial member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family, primarily involved in regulating transcription elongation by phosphorylating the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II, which is essential for the expression of genes that control cell cycle progression, differentiation, and apoptosis.
