    SEE ALSO...

Cdc26 Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc26 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Cdc26 antibody (C-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdc26 plays a crucial role in regulating the anaphase-promoting complex (APC), which is essential for proper cell cycle progression. Specifically, Cdc26 helps stabilize APC, a multi-subunit E3 ubiquitin ligase that marks target proteins for degradation, ensuring DNA replication occurs only once per cell cycle. This regulation maintains genomic stability by preventing DNA re-replication, which can lead to aneuploidy and other cellular abnormalities. Cdc26′s interaction with other APC components, such as Cdc20 and Cdc23, highlights its importance in the transition from metaphase to anaphase, ensuring accurate sister chromatid segregation. Using Cdc26 (C-4) monoclonal antibody in research can provide valuable insights into cell cycle regulation mechanisms and their implications in various diseases, including cancer.
