SEE ALSO...

CD32 Antibody (KB61) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD32 in human samples through immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. CD32, also known as Fc gamma RII, serves as a low-affinity receptor for the Fc fragment of aggregated immunoglobulin G (IgG), playing a crucial role in the immune response by mediating the clearance of immune complexes through macrophages. This function is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmune diseases, as CD32 helps regulate the levels of circulating antibodies. CD32 is expressed in various cell types, including monocytes, placental trophoblasts, and endothelial cells, with specific isoforms present on B lymphocytes and neutrophils, which underscores CD32′s importance in both innate and adaptive immunity. CD32 exists in several isoforms produced by alternative splicing of three distinct genes (A, B, and C), designated as FcγRIIA, FcγRIIB1, FcγRIIB3, and FcγRIIC, each contributing to the nuanced regulation of immune responses. Anti-CD32 antibody (KB61) is an essential tool for researchers studying immune regulation and the mechanisms underlying antibody production, providing insights into the complex interactions within the immune system.

What is the epitope recognized by this clone? Thanks.

Asked by: Harryzhao
Thank you for your question. No epitope mapping has been performed for this antibody as of yet, so we are unable to say where it binds its target protein.

How can CD32 (KB61): sc-20054 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jerojero
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-20054 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-20054 FITC).
