    SEE ALSO...

BTBD14A Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BTBD14A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BTBD14A (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BTBD14A, also known as BTB/POZ domain-containing protein 14A, consists of 587 amino acids and features a single BTB/POZ domain, which mediates both homomeric and heteromeric interactions among proteins. This domain plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulators involved in chromatin remodeling, significantly impacting gene expression regulation. BTBD14A interacts with SMRT/N-CoR-mSin3A histone deacetylase complex, essential for repressing and silencing gene transcription. Deletion of BTB/POZ domain, as observed in oncogenic PLZF-RAR chimera associated with promyelocytic leukemias, leads to loss of transcriptional repression, suggesting BTBD14A′s key role in regulating transcriptional activity.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390650 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
