Datasheets
  • BRD3 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b κ, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 175-192 within an internal region of BRD3 of human origin
  • Anti-BRD3 Antibody (B-12) is recommended for detection of BRD3 isoforms 1 and 2 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • Anti-BRD3 Antibody (B-12) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for BRD3 Antibody (B-12) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with BRD3 Antibody (B-12) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

BRD3 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects BRD3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BRD3 antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BRD3, a member of the bromodomain-containing protein family, plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation by recognizing acetylated lysines on histones and non-histone proteins, which is essential for processes such as transcriptional activation and chromatin remodeling. Two bromodomains in BRD3 enable interactions with various transcriptional co-activators and chromatin remodeling complexes, thereby influencing cellular processes like differentiation and proliferation. BRD3 is encoded on chromosome 9q34 and participates in several cellular pathways, making BRD3 a significant target for research in cancer and other diseases. Bromodomain-containing proteins, including BRD2, BRD4, and BRDT, are widely expressed across different tissues, highlighting their importance in cellular function and potential as therapeutic targets.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515666 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
