BMP-4 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects BMP-4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BMP-4 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BMP-4, a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family within the transforming growth factor-beta (TGFβ) superfamily, plays a crucial role in regulating bone and cartilage development. BMP-4 is primarily located in the extracellular matrix and is secreted by various cell types, where BMP-4 interacts with specific receptors to initiate signaling pathways that lead to cellular differentiation and tissue formation.
