Bak Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects Bak protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Bak (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Bak protein, a member of the Bcl-2 family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of apoptosis, particularly in promoting cell death in response to specific signals. Bak′s ability to enhance apoptotic processes is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating damaged or unwanted cells, which is essential for tissue health and development.
