SEE ALSO...

BAF60a Antibody (23) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects BAF60a of mouse, rat, human, and canine origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-BAF60a antibody (23) is available as the non-conjugated form. BAF60a, also known as BRG1-associated factor 60A or SMARCD1, is a 476 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in chromatin remodeling by acting as a component of the BAF complex. BAF60a (23) monoclonal antibody is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where BAF60a interacts with various other proteins to facilitate the dynamic restructuring of chromatin, which is essential for regulating gene expression. BAF60a (23) antibody recognizes a protein involved in transcriptional activity mediated by vitamin D, serving as a critical link between the vitamin D receptor and SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes. Multiple isoforms of BAF60a, resulting from alternative splicing, add another layer of complexity to BAF60a function and regulation, making BAF60a a significant focus of study in understanding cellular processes and gene regulation.
