SEE ALSO...

BACH1 Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BACH1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-BACH1 antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BACH1 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression as a transcription factor, particularly in response to oxidative stress and heme levels, which is vital for cellular defense mechanisms and maintaining homeostasis. BACH1 functions by forming heterodimers with small Maf proteins, such as MafK, MafF, and MafG, allowing binding to specific DNA sequences and modulating transcription of target genes. BACH1′s ability to act as both a transcriptional repressor and activator, depending on dimerization partners, underscores importance in various biological processes, including hematopoiesis and immune response. BACH1′s wide expression across different tissues highlights potential involvement in diverse physiological and pathological conditions.

I am using sc-271211 in A7r5 cells. I extracted nuclear and cytoplasmic protein and run western blot using 1:100 ratio in 5% milk. However, I am not able to see the band, even though I can detect inner control band and did membrane transfer properly.

Can the TransCruz reagent sc-271211 X be used for applications other than ChIP?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. Yes, the X form of the antibody can be used for other listed applications such as WB and IF, the dilution factor just needs to be adjusted as the X form is ten times as concentrated as the standard antibody.
