ATP6E Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ATP6E in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ATP6E, also known as V-ATPase E, is a crucial component of the vacuolar-type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme essential for acidification of eukaryotic intracellular organelles. ATP6E plays a vital role in maintaining cellular homeostasis by pumping protons against an electrochemical gradient, which is fundamental for various cellular processes, including nutrient uptake, protein sorting, and enzyme activation. V-ATPase is composed of two main domains: the peripheral V1 domain, responsible for ATP hydrolysis, and the integral V0 domain, which facilitates proton translocation.
