ATMIN Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ATMIN in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ATMIN, also known as ATM/ATR-substrate Chk2-interacting Zn2+-finger protein, plays a crucial role in the DNA damage response by acting as a scaffold protein in the Rad51 focus formation pathway, which is essential for repairing DNA lesions. ATMIN′s ability to form Rad51-containing foci in response to DNA methylating agents and persistent single-stranded DNA gaps is vital for maintaining genomic stability, as ATMIN facilitates the repair of DNA damage and prevents apoptosis induced by excessive DNA damage.
