ARIH1 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ARIH1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARIH1 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARIH1 protein, also known as ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 binding protein 1, ARI, HARI, HHARI, MOP-6, or UBCH7BP, is a 557 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as protein degradation and translation. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, ARIH1 contains two RING-type zinc fingers and one in-between RING fingers (IBR) domain, which are essential for function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. This structural configuration allows ARIH1 to interact with E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UBCH7, facilitating transfer of ubiquitin to target substrates. Notably, ARIH1 is involved in polyubiquitylation of eIF4E2, a process that marks this protein for proteasomal degradation, thereby regulating protein synthesis and maintaining cellular homeostasis. ARIH1 (C-7) monoclonal antibody serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying ubiquitin-mediated processes.
